Foot, one-officer, two-officers, ABC methods, progressive, or leapfrog
Foot surveillance -
usually a short distance, can be caught easily
Two-officer surveillance -
two officers are working together to watch the individual, provides more security and less chance of the operation being compromised.
LeapFrog -
someone takes your spot and someone else can take their spot.
