Lie: We have always done church and evangelism this way, changing to break down barriers would be dangerous.
Truth: I need to be adaptable and fit in, if I am going to be used to save people in different groups. To the weak I need to become as weak to the non-religious I need to emphasize relationship with God, not rules and works. To the lonely I need to show myself friendly emphasizing. To those who are under the law, I need to affirm the value of obedience but share my own innability to keep any law without Christ. First Corinthians 9:19–22
Lie: Most creative people do their best work when they are drunk, crazy, or wild. If I seek and accept stability from God I might lose my creative edge.
Truth: All good things come from God and the Lord, not from drugs. He puts into people his wisdom to understanding to know how to work all manner of work. He creates wise-hearted people who can work with metal and embroidery, all workmanship, and to create beauty. Exodus 35:31-15, James 1:17
