Passes through: Orbital fissure
Maxillary branch (GSA to upper lip, nasal mucosae, lateral aspect of the palpebrae) Passes through: Round foramen and rostral alar foramen.
Mandibular branch (GSA to lower jaw, auriculotemporal area) (GSE to muscles of mastication) Passes through: Oval foramen

Passes through jugular foramen and tympanooccipital fissure.

M (GSE to extrinsic and intrinsic muscles of the tongue)
Passes through hypoglossal canal.
