- whether there is a match or ‘good-fit’ between the coping strategy and the stressful situation
good context-specific effectivenes - the coping strategy is a good fit to the stressful situation and produces desirable outcomes
bad context-specific effectiveness - the coping strategy is not a good fit to the stressful situation and produces undesirable outcomes
