Equal parts Rye Whiskey and Sweet Vermouth with a dash of three different bitters (Peychaud’s, Orange, Celery)
1.5oz rye whiskey
1.5oz sweet vermouth
1 dash celery bitters
1 dash orange bitters
1 dash Peychaud’s bitters

Abbey Cocktail
Excellent Brunch Cocktail made with London Dry Gin, Orange Juice, Lillet or Cocchi Americano, Orange or Agnostura Bitters, and a cherry for garnish.
1.5oz London Dry Gin
3/4oz Orange Juice
3/4oz Lillet or Cocchi Americano or Dry Vermouth
2 dashes bitters (Orange or Angostura)
Cherry garnish
Shake and Strain into a cocktail glass with a cherry garnish.
Absinthe Frappé
1.5oz Absinthe
1/2oz simple syrup
6-8 mint leaves
Muddle mint on the bottom of a frappe, absinthe, or old fashioned glass and top with absinthe, simple syrup and pack with crushed or “cobbled ice”.
What makes a cocktail a frappé?
By definition a frappé cocktail is any cocktail served chilled but in reality is often a cocktail that is served with crushed or cobbled ice or even served from a blender.
What makes a cocktail a cobbler?
A cobbler is a cocktail that is typically shaken and served in a collins glass over crushed or “cobbled ice” with a straw and fruit as a garnish.
Cobblers became famous in the 1830s when ice became more readily available. The Sherry Cobbler is quite possibly the first shaken cocktail ever produced.
Adonis
Perfect aperitif style cocktail. Named after the first successful Broadway musical of the same name. This is the sweet vermouth variation of a Bamboo. Equal parts Fino or Manzanilla Sherry and Sweet Vermouth plus 2 dashes of Orange Bitters.
1.5oz fino or manzanilla sherry
1.5oz sweet vermouth
2 dashes orange bitters
orange peel garnish
Stir and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with orange peel
Bamboo
Equal parts Fino or Manzanilla Sherry and Dry Vermouth with 2 dashes each Angostura and Orange Bitters. Dry Vermouth take on an Adonis.
1.5 oz fino or manzanilla sherry
1.5oz dry vermouth
2 dashes orange bitters
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Stir and strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with orange and/or lemon twist. It’s important that this cocktail is served chilled but NOT diluted. Chilling of both the cocktail glass and the mixing glass is recommended prior to stirring.
Brandy Alexander
Equal parts VS Cognac/Brandy, White Creme de Cacao, and Heavy Cream
3/4oz VS Cognac or brandy
3/4oz white crème de cacao
3/4oz heavy cream
Shake and strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with grated nutmeg

Algonquin

Named after the first non-American boxer, Primo Carnera, to win the US heavyweight boxing championship. Also thought to be named after the flurry of American expats to Italy during prohibition that favored the cocktail.

Combine Campari and sweet vermouth into an ice-filled glass, stir to combine, and top with soda water. Garnish with orange slice.
Antibes
Supposedly first concocted by Ernest Hemmingway in the town of the same name where he, F Scott Fitzgerald, and Pablo Picasso frequented on the French Riviera between Cannes and Nice. It is said that he made this instead of a Daiquiri because he didn’t have any rum.

Shake all ingredients and strain into cocktail glass and garnish with lemon twist. Important to note that the honey must be diluted with an equal part of hot simple syrup or hot water depending on desired level of sweetness.

2 parts Prosecco
1 part white peach purée
1 dash raspberry purée
Pour purees into a Champagne flute and top with Prosecco and stir gently.

Bloody Mary
The most variable cocktail in the book. Everyone makes their own different recipe but the most common ingredients are tomato juice, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, tobasco, horseradish, salt, celery salt, and black pepper to taste with a celery stick.
Pour ingredients into a ice filled highball and stir. Celery stick is the mandatory garnish but many add much more than that.

Muddle two limes in a shaker and add 1-2tsp (to taste) sugar add ice, shake and pour unstrained into a lowball glass.
Cape Codder
1.5oz Vodka
4oz Cranberry Juice
1/4oz Lime Juice

Pour into an ice-filled highball, stir, and garnish with lime. Omit the lime juice to make a Cape Cod
What is the difference between Cape Codder and Cape Cod?
Cape Cod is a Cape Codder without the lime juice.
Champagne Cocktail
4oz Chilled Champagne
1 sugar cube
3-4 dashes Angostura bitters
lemon peel expressed and then discarded
Place a sugar cube on a napkin over the top of a Champagne glass and pour 3-4 dashes of bitters on the sugar cube. Fold the napkin and deposit the sugar cube into the bottom of the glass. Top with Champagne, express oils from a lemon peel and discard peel.
