-inhibits serotonin reuptake

-inhibit serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake
Wellbutrin
NDRI
-depression and smoking cessation
TCAs
Elavil and Tofranil
-inhibit serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake
-NOT FOR SUICIDAL PATIENTS
MAOIs
Nardil
-inhibits MAO
-glaucoma and nystagmus
-foods with tyramine (wine, cheese, dry meat) contraindicated due to lethal hypertensive crisis
Diazepam
opens chloride channels by binding to GABA receptors
