28
Q

What are our FAR exemptions?

A

VFR Cruising Altitude: allows us to operate at lower altitudes when conducting drug interdiction only to extent to gain PID and must have a dedicated on-board observer to watch for other air traffic and operable Mode C

Alternate Airport Requirements

IFR Cruising Altitude: allows us to conduct MTR training in uncontrolled airspace

Aircraft Lights: allows us to turn off lights for drug interdiction with dedicated on board observer plus addition resource capable of detecting all aircraft in vicinity. Also, allows to turn off lights for NVD training

29
Q
