What is the management of C. Diff?

A
  • First line - 10-14 days of Metronidazole
  • Second line - Oral Vancomycin.
  • Life threatening - oral Vancomycin + Metronidazole.

NOTE: Needs to be oral not IV - oral gets to the gut better.
