A

THE INET

  • Thermoregulatory - need twice daily temps with a low reading thermometer
    * Haemodynamic changes eg CCF / fluid shift / renal failure
  • Electrolyte disturbances
  • Infections (skin, resp, other)
  • **Nutritional **- lose albumin, need high protein diet and dietician review
    (decreased B12, folate, iron, albumin, Hb, Na, Ca)
  • Nails: beaus lines, onychomadesis (shedding)
  • Ectropion
  • Thrombophilia - DVTs, need heparin, TEDS
