Contain HEMOGLOBIN: an iron-base protein
White blood cells:
Live for months to years
Carry alien diseases
Have a nuclei

They are cell fragments that flow in the blood and gather when a cut to a blood vessel occus to clot and create protein FIBIRIN to make a weave-like structure to protect the body from alien bodies and restrain the blood flow
