•Muscles contract results in vasoconstriction
•Relaxation of Smooth Muscle results in vasodilation

Tunica Adventitia
A
- Outermost layer
- Forms a Connective sheath around the vessel
- Composed of collagen fibers
- Anchors the blood vessels in position
-The walls of some vessels are too thick to obtain nutrients via diffusion so they have their own blood supply in vessels called Vasa Vasorum
