↑in JVP on INSPIRATION (instead of normal ↓).

MECH:
-ve intrathoracic P that devels on insp NOT transmitted to Heart ->
Impaired filling of R.H -> Bl backs up into Vena Cava -> JVD.

SEEN IN:

  • Restrictive Cardiomyopathies
  • Constrictive Pericarditis
  • R Heart Tumors (ie Rhabdomyomas)
