what do Christians use anthromorphism for
to describe god
evidence god is a creator in the apostles creed
I believe in the father almighty maker of heaven and earth
a way Christians can describe god (omni word)
many Christians would describe god as omnipotent. they would find evidence to support this in genesis. here it describes how god created the world. this would suggest that god is all powerful as he had the power to create the world and all that is in it
another way Christians would describe god and a problem with it
one way Christians would describe god would be that a creator. he is the creator of the universe and everything within it evidence to support this argument tht god can be described as a creator can be found in the bible where is states in the beginning god created the heaves and the earth (genesis 1:1)
however some athiests may state that this argument stating god as a creator is flawed as there is scientific evidence that god is not the creator and the world was in fact created by a big bang. this big bang theory is further supported by red shift which can still be seen by some scientists today

what do we understand from god as father
god is the giver of life, without god, life would not exist, the universe, world, nature humanity all owe their existence to god
god is the father of everything just as a human fther cares for his kids so too does god loveall humanity

believe every word in the bible is true

no errors in the word of god
known as creationists believe was made in 6 days 7th day god rested
believe that the writers were filled with the holy spirit when writing so no errors can be made
universal truth
something that is always true
has always been true
liberal view on creation
genesis is a myth
contains universal truths
the universal truth that god is a creator#
believe that the bible is a product of its time and need not to be understood literally
liberals extended ans
take asymbolic view of the bible
therefore when they read the story of genesis believe it is a myth with universal truths contained in it
roman catholics
big bang
theistic evolution
literalists
are Christians who say that every word of the bible is absolutely true and no errors or mistakes are in it. the writers are filled with the holy spirit amd as such no mistakes can be made. they accept the genesis as literally true
young earth creationists
believe the world is 6000 years old
liberals
the bible is a product of its time and need not be understood literally but should be interpreted.
the genesis account is a myth so they believe science can be reconciled with the genesis creation narrative
theistic evolution
they would say that genesis reflects the science of the time and expresses the belief that god created the universe thru the big bang and evolution
role of spirit in creation
the spirit is the agent of god in creation in pslam 3 it says by the word of the lord the heavens were made and by the breath of his mouth all their host
the spirit of god hath made me and thebreath of the almighty hath given me life
in this passage the holy spirit is not only the creator of the physical form of man but also the life giver
what is original sin
original sin is the result of adam and eve disobedience to god when they are forbidden fruit in the garden of eden
roman catholic view on evil
god did not create evil evil came into the world because of the sin of adam and eve during the fall in genesis
because of their actions all mankind is born with original sin
strengths of the roman catholic view on evil
explains that evil is not the fault of god therefore god is still omnibenevolent
original sin came into the world because adam and eve had freewill
weaknesses of rc view of evil
original sin is not biblical it is a teaching from a philosopher that is accepted as true by the church
if god was truly omnibenevolent and omnipotent then surely he could find a way for humans to have free will
liberal view of evil
adam represents all males
eve all females
serpent represents temptation
fruit is knoldge of all sins
the sin of a and e represents how mankind chooses to commit sin
their banishment from the garden of eden shows how sinners will not be allowed with god in heaven
strengths of the liberal view
explains that evil in the world is the fault of mankind and their choices and allows god to still be omnipotent and omnibenevolent
god allows mankind to make choices doesn’t want them to be slaves
weaknesses of liberal view
if god was truly omnibenevolent and omnipotent then surely he could find a way for humans to have free will without having the capacity to take away the freewill of others and commit such evil actions
