what are the two types of lactose intolerance
- primary
- genetic
- absense or reduction of enzyme - secondary
- injury to small bowel as a result of an acute infection
- small amounts tolerated if spread throughout the day
what are food allergies? how diagnosis?
caused by an immune system over reaction to a certain food—- antibody production
diagnosis- testing for antibodies
treatment- elimate the food
