Q

Patterns of alveolar shadowing

A
  1. Lobar/Segmental pattern
Caused by: infection, pulmonary infarct, contusion, alveolar cell carcinoma
  2. Bat’s wing pattern
    Acute: pulmonary oedema
Chronic: Lymphoma/leukemia, pulmonary alveolar proteinosis, alveolar cell carcinoma
