We want to acknowledge that there are a lot of steps that take place before a student is referred for evaluation and an eligibility meeting is held. We are really focusing on the disabilities and what happens at the eligibility table today.
In reviewing all of the available information, the team determines that the child is not making sufficient progress or responding to the interventions.

Eligibility Meeting
A meeting where the IDEA Team reviews evaluation reports completed and determines if a student meets criteria for special education services and/or Section 504 Accommodation Plan.
