Contains 22 bones, formed by the cranium and facial bones

Forms foregead and roof of nasal cavity

Forms superior sides of cranium, roof of the cranium
Temporal bones
Forms inferior sides of cranium
Occipital bone
Forms back portion of skull
Mandible
Irregular lower jaw bone, largest and strongest bone of face, moveable
Maxilla
Fused bones of upper jaw, articulates all facial bones except mandible
Cervical Vertebrae
There are 7 bones of neck include atlas and axis
Thoracic vertebrae
12 bones, bones of torso
Lumbar vertebrae
5 bones of lower back
Sacrum
5 fused bones
Coccyx
4 fused bones
Sternum
Flat bone made up of manubrium body and xiphoid process
