VIRGINIA- assembly passed Virginia Resolves; stating ONLY the Virginia assembly had the right to tax Virginians
Boston— mobilizes a group of protestors-Sons of Liberty who used violence and intimidation to avoid the tax
New York: The Stamp Act Congress- Congress peaceably petitions Parliament for a redress
