What are interrogative pronouns?

A

An interrogative pronoun allows us to ask a question. The interrogative pronouns are what,which,who,whose and whom.

How to use Interrogative pronouns?

A

•What, can be used to ask about people,animals or things:
‘WHAT time is it.’

•Which, can be used to ask about people, animals or things:
‘WHICH twin is taller.’

•Who, is used to ask about people specifically which person or persons perform or performed a certain action.
‘WHO turned the oven on.’

•Whose, is used to find out which person something belongs to.
‘WHOSE dog is off the leash.’

•Whom, is an object pronoun and refers to the person receiving the action.
‘You asked WHOM to the dance.’
