Sings of inadequate airway child infant
There may be retractions above clavicle in between and below the ribs.
Nasal flaring especially in infants and children
Head tilt chin lift
A means of correcting blockage of the airway by the tongue by tilting the head back and lifting the chin
Jaw thrust maneuver
A means of correcting blockage of the airway by moving the jaw forward without tilting the head or neck.used when suspected neck injury
Oropharyngeal airway for infants and kids
Insert airway with tip already pointing down toward patients pharynx using a tongue depressor or rigid suction tip this method is for insertion in an infant or child
