Internal/External
Record-based/Document Based
What are data warehouses?
DW are stores of DBs that are updated periodically. They are not operational DB updated in real-time.
What are the Key Concepts in DW?
1) Defining the data - metadata
2) Quality data and cleansing data
3) Data marts - subset of one large DW
What is Data Cleansing?
Data Cleansing is the process of detecting and correcting corrupt or inaccurate data
After cleansing, a DW should be similar to other datasets in a system.

- Fit all business funciton
- Different modules but integraated
- Best fit for the enterprise

1) Define business use of data
2) Create the data model for the Warehouse

What is a document?
A unit of recorded information structured for human consumption
What is an example of enterprise content management and what is its use?
Intranet - helps store, track, edit and collaborate with the content create process
What is content management strategy?
An org’s plan to create, publish and govern content
What are the three phases of content?
1) Managing content creationg & acquisition
2) Content admin and safeguarding
3) Managing deployment and presentation
