Inattention Requirments
> = 6 symptoms of inattention for children up to age 16
or
= 5 symptoms for ages 17 and older
Must have been present for at least 6 months
Hyperactivity and Impulsivity Requirments
> =6 symptoms of hyperactivity/impulsivity for children up to age 16
or
=5 symptoms for ages 17 and older

Start 5mg bid
Concerta Dosing
OROS delivery: outer coat dissolves fast and the rest is dissolved slowly
Can see ghost tab in stool
Start 18-36mg qam
Ritalin LA dosing
Jornay PM: outer coating delays drug release for evening dose
Daytrana dosing
10mg/9hr patch QAM
Apply 2 hours before desired effect
Remove after 9 hours
Alternate Hips daily
