Why use sociology of physical activity
It allows us to look more closely at the social arrangements that underline physical activity
What are the three goals of Sociology of Physical Activity
1) To look at physical activity with analysis that goes beyond our common understanding of social life
2) To identify and analyze patterns of change and stability in physical activity
3) To critique physical activity programs in order to identify problems and recommend changes leading to enhancement of equality and human well-being
