Likes and dislikes - evaluative statements (changeable)
What is power distance?
A society that excepts that power is distributed unequally in organizations.
What is individualism?
how people act as individuals as opposed to members of a group.
What is collectivism?
Society looks after and protects the group members, welfare of the group over welfare of the individual.
Masculinity versus femininity.
The separate roles that a culture has for man and women.
What is uncertainty avoidance?
When society is threatened by uncertainty people avoid these situations these people like rules.
What is long-term orientation?
The American dream, future thrift, persistence.
What a short-term orientation?
Respect, traditions, social obligations.
What are elders?
People over 60.
Who are the boomers?
People born mid-1940s to 1960s.
What is generation X?
People born mid-1960s to early 1980s (Unilateralists).
What is generation Y?
Generation why are people born from 1977 to 1997 - or the echo boom.
What is employee engagement?
And individuals involvement with, satisfaction with, and enthusiasm for the work that here she does.
What is cognitive dissonance?
The difference between beliefs and actions (behavior); internal pressure to change one’s attitude (guilt).
What are job satisfaction determiners.
MESS - mentally challenging work Equitable rewards supportive working conditions supportive colleagues.
