A systematic study is a study that draws conclusions based on SCIENTIFIC evidence about CAUSES and EFFECTS
What is the “Contingency Approach” to OB
The “Contingency Approach” simply considers behaviour in the CONTEXT that it occurs.
What is ethics?
Ethics is the study of MORAL values or principles that guide BEHAVIOUR. -Informs us whether our actions are RIGHT or WRONG.
What is empowerment?
Empowerment is putting people in charge of what they do.
What is Workplace Diversity?
Workplace Diversity is HETEROGENEITY in GENDER, RACE, DISABILITY, AGE, SEXUAL PREFERENCE, ETHNICITY etc.
What is TQM? (Total Quality Management)
TQM is all about achieving complete customer satisfaction through making improvements.
What is Re-Engineering?
Re-Engineering is the PROCESS where you reconsider how the work should be done and organized as if it were being created from SCRATCH.

Job satisfaction is the general ATTITUDE towards one’s job.

EBM is basing managerial decisions on the best available scientific evidence.

POS is how organizations develop human strength, foster vitality and unlock potential.
What is Organizational Commitment (OC?)?
A sense of IDENTIFICATION and INVOLVEMENT with the company.
What is Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB)?
Not part of an employee’s actual job requirements, but promotes effective functioning of the organization.
