A

What is the data bus?

A

is the subsystem that allows different components inside the computer to communicate with each other or to communicate with other devices.

It is a term for a conduit (wiring, optical fibre, etc.) transferring data between different parts of a computer, both internally and externally.

What is Software?

A

Software refers to parts of the computer which do not have a material form, such as programs and data. When software is stored in ROM it is sometimes called “firmware” to indicate that it is normally not reprogrammable in normal operations.
