What is crisis intervention
A short term helping process designed to provide immediate relief in an emergency situation which is active direct and brief occuring after a crisis has happened aimed at ameliorate situations.

What is anxiety
GAD is a condition characterized by excessive anxiety and worry about things that last longer than six months and impairs normal functioning.
A highly anxious person may be restless, jittery, fidgety , fatigue, tense unable to concentrate
Treatment involves psychotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Comment on depression
Symptoms include
Affective symptoms like feelings of sadness unhappiness worthlessness
Cognitive symptoms like feelings of futility emptyiness and hopelessness. Suicidal thoughts guilt negative thinking and concentration problem
Behavioural symptoms like lack of energy self neglect crying
Physiological symptoms like loss of appetite and weight sleep disturbances loss of libido
Treatment involves psychotherapy and antidepressant
