what is confirmatory strategy
searching for thigns that support your hypothesis and ignoring what doesn’t support it.
what is attribution error
undue empahsis on internal causes for an client’s issue
what is a judgemental heuristic
quick decision rules that are used often. (quick impulsive references or insights)

what ist he collaborative approach
clients are given opportunities to share their beliefs, perspectives, and expectations, as well as their explanations of problems
what are the 7 parts of a collaborative conceptualizatio
clinical skill and client perspective to understand the problem
collaborate to define the issue
build a hypothesis together to see the cause of the issue
develop ways together to confirm or disconfirm the hypothesis
test out the hypothesis from both people
if the hypothesis is found to be true then you develop a treatment plan
if this is not true, then collect more data and start again.
