Stand behind the patient and bend the patient forward.

Wrap your arms around the patient’s waist.

Make a fist with one hand and position it slightly above the patient’s navel.
If the patient is conscious, what is the fourth step to perform an Abdominal Thrust?
Grasp the fist with your other hand and press hard into the abdomen with a quick, upward thrust.
If the patient is conscious, what is the fifth step to perform an Abdominal Thrust?
Repeat until the object is expelled through the mouth.
