Take care of yourself
Managing change can be stressful if you are not prepared so eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly and get enough sleep
-when you are healthy you are better equipped and in a better frame to mind to handle anything.
If you are already stretched of your limits and having trouble coping, change will only add to your difficulties
Be open and flexible
Knowing that change can occur at anytime helps you accept and adjust it to when it happens
Be able to let go of expectations that no longer fit
Realize that your current routine is probably temporary
Stay positive and put in perspective
We have the ability to contol our emotional responses
Take control of your life
Use critical thinking skills and do things in advance to help prepare for the transition
Make a list of options
Determine the best approaches
Take charge of your thoughts and actions
Make changes
Look at where you need to make adjustments and take action, doing so can prevent the stress and anxiety that accompany unexpected change

-Asking relevant questions to clarify certain work related information may prepare you to better fulfil your role more effectively
-Listening carefully when given instructions may ensure that you pay attention to the critical changes
