When does ovulation occur during menstrual cycle

It’s picked up by the fimbriae and enters the Fallopian tube

After capacitation, what happens?

- Basal body temperature raises for 2 weeks after ovulation (0.2-0.4 degrees higher)

- Nausea/vomiting
- Frequent urination
- Fatigue
- Hegar’s sign
- Chemical tests
Why does basal body temp tend to change in pregnancy?
High levels of progesterone

Soft spot between uterine body and cervix at one month post-conception.
How do chemical pregnancy tests work?
They detect human chorionic gonadotropin in women’s urine
