vulnerability –> prodrome (24h) –> Aura (1h) –> Headache (3 hours to days) –> Post headache state
What are possible causes of migraine?
vasodilation of the cranial blood vessels, hyper-excitable neurons, genetic, women > men

Hormonal changes, food (alcohol, MSG, red wine, aged cheese) stress, sensory stimuli, changes in sleep-wake pattern, changes in environment
