What is the difference between preview and program monitoring?
Preview monitoring is the video source being selected prior to it becoming live. Program monitoring is the live feed being viewed by the “Audience”
What is an ocilloscope?
It plots signal amplitude and timing.
What is a Waveform monitor?
It measures amplitude and timing of luminance and color signals.
What is a Vectorscope?
It measures amplitude, hue, and phase of video signals.
What is harmonic distortion?
Distortion that happens on every harmonic of the frequency. If the fundamental frequency is 800hz the harmonics would happen on 1.6khz, 2.4 khz and etc.
What is THD?
Total harmonic distortion.
What is a “Weighted” measurement?
Assigns variations in value according to typical human perception. Unweighted measurements do not assign these variations
For good intelligibility, overall SPL should be at least ____ above the ambient noise level.

In which case would you use a C-Weighted measurement?
A loud environment such as a concert.
In Which case would you use an A-Weighted measurement?
At lower listening levels.
