Visual, sound, ease of movement, audience comfort.
What are some presenter considerations when designing an AV system?
Workstation, presenter equipment, power voice and data, site lines, versatility of system.
What are some control room considerations when designing an AV system?
Power, voice and data, equipment space, heating and cooling, task lighting, monitoring, sound isolation.
How far away should the furthest seat be away from a screen for general viewing?
No more than 8 times the image height
How far away should the furthest seat be away from a screen for reading?
6 times the height of the screen
How far away should the furthest seat be away from a screen for inspection type viewing?
4 x the height of the screen
How do you find out the width of a screen of a 3:2 screen?
Height x 1.5 = width
How do you find out the width of a 4:3 screen if you know the height?
Height x 1.33 = width
What is Lux?
A metric unit of measurement to measure how much light falls on to a certain object. Ie: table
How do you find out the width of a HD screen if you know the height?
Height x 1.78 = width
