Supply some muscles in neck, back and diaphragm
Phrenic- C3,4,5- motor to diaphragm
Ansa cervicalis- depress hyoid bone

A
Sensation to skin of neck, upper thorax, ear and scalp
Erb’s point
For carotid endarterectomy and thyroidectomy at midway up post boarder SCM

A
Greater auricular, transverse cervical, lesser occipital, supraclavicular
