Cells Flashcards
What is the difference between prokaryotes and eukaryotes?
DNA is not stored in the nucleus for Prokaryotes, Eukaryotes are also much more complex than Prokaryotes.
What are some different organelles from Animal and Plant Cells?
Large Vacuole, Chloroplasts, Cell Wall
What are the few components of Bacteria?
Cell Walls, Cell Membrane Ribosomes, DNA
What is the benefit of being a prokaryotic cell?
Prokaryotic cells are faster at duplicating and are used for less complex life, quantity over quality.
What is the benefit of being a eukaryotic cell?
Eukaryotic cells have organelles for more specific tasks and are used in making more complex life, quality over quantity.
Why do some cells have different organelles than other cells?
Those cells have more specified organelles for the specific tasks their supposed to perform.
How to all types of cells get energy?
Cells perform Cellular Respiration to obtain APT as energy.
How does bacteria differ in container?
Some bacteria have 2 cell membranes, some have membrane plus cell wall, some have just cell wall.
What is the difference between Eukaryotes and Prokaryotes in reading DNA?
Prokaryotes lack golgi and vesicles for transporting proteins.
