What are the paranasal sinuses?
Ethmoidal air cells, sphenoid, frontal and maxillary sinuses
What should you be able to see in the nasal cavity?
Nasal bones, nasal meatus, septum, inferior, middle and superior concha, maxillary ostium
What should you be able to see in maxilla?
Hard palate, maxillary tuberosity, nasopalatine canal, anterior nasal spine
What should you be able to see in mandible?
Condyle, coronoid process, sigmoid notch, ramus, mandibular foramen, inferior alveolar canal, mental foramen and lingual foramina
What should you be able to see in temporal bone?
Mastoid air cells, external and internal auditory meatus, ossicles, mandibular fossa, articular eminence, styloid process
What should you be able to see in sphenoid bone?
Sella turcica, superior and inferior orbital fissure, optic canal, pterygoid plates, foramen rotundum.
What soft tissue elements should you be able to see?
Soft palate, tongue, epiglottis, earlobe, airway
