Transient loss of consciousness secondary to lack of cerebral blood flow
When does the onset of syncope peak?
Adolescence/early adulthood (vasovagal)
What is the most common cause of syncope?
Vasovagal event
What prodrome symptoms occur in syncope?
Sweating, lightheadedness, nausea, narrowing of vision

What should be ordered in females in working up syncope?
Urine pregnancy test
