• Things respiring, pooing, decaying, burning and fossil fuels all release CO2 into the atmosphere
• Photosynthesis is the only way that plants take in that CO2 and transfer it into oxygen. They also use the carbon for things like carbohydrates, fats and proteins in themselves. And then the animals eat them and use it for themselves aswell.
• The animals and plants respire and poo and stuff which puts CO2 back into the atmosphere and then the cycle starts again!
