Abnormal and permanently dilated airways. Walls become inflamed, thickened and irreversibly damaged

Chronic cough
Daily sputum, often copius
Wheeze
Dyspnoea

A

HRCT - thickened dilated bronchi and cysts, airways larger than associated blood vessels
SPUTUM - examination and culture
CF GENOTYPING

A

Chest physiotherapy
Antibiotics - promptly
