The Fuel Building Essential AFUs will swap their suctions from the Fuel Building to the Aux Building.

The outside air dampers for the Control Room Essentials are open on a CREFAS. CRVIAS is initiated from B05. What happens to the outside air dampers?
They close. CRVIAS overrides SIAS and CREFAS

Explain the layout for the UV relays on the Class 4160V buses.
4 degraded voltage relays and 4 loss of voltage relays come off of each PB bus. 1 DV relay and 1 LOV are paired to make one channel. One relay from each channel is enough to trip the channel. LOP actuation logic is 2/4 channels.
What are the relay pair numbers for the Undervoltage Relays for the PB buses?
Channel 1 - 1/5
Channel 2 - 2/6
Channel 3 - 3/7
Channel 4 - 4/8
What happens on a LOP in the BOP-ESFAS?
2/4 logic met on the Class UV relays. Sends signal to DGSS module resulting in a DG start. Signal also sent to Sequencer which generates 1 second Load Shed Pulse to keep from overloading the DG.
What happens to the Class UV relays once the DG Output breaker closes in on the bus?
The UV relays reset.
How long is the LOP signal once generated? Why?
60 seconds
To ensure the sequencer finishes
What generates the signal to start the DG?
The DGSS
In what mode does the DGSS place the DG?
TEST - every time
Emergency Mode is added later if needed.
What will start the DG?
LOP

What is MODE 0 for the BOP-ESFAS Sequencer?
No Input/Normal

Trip of both trains of the associated actuation and any associated cross trips
What happens to the BOP-ESFAS on the loss of PN to on of the Cabinets?
You’ll lose one fan out of that cabinet
What happens to the BOP-ESFAS on the loss of PN bus?
PNA and PNB power the Radiation Monitors associated with BOP-ESFAS. Therefore, you’ll get trips associated with the Rad Monitor failures
What happens to the BOP-ESFAS on the loss of PK to on of the Cabinets?
You’ll lose one fan out of that cabinet
What happens to the BOP-ESFAS on the loss of PK bus?
UNIT 1 (A and C) - Loss of PN - BOP-ESFAS Train OOS UNIT 2 and 3 - Auto transfer to Voltage Regulator.
Does the Sequencer start the DG or position valves?
Neither. The DGSS starts the DG and ESF positions valves.
