- All non anterior cranial bones
- Three anterior cranial bones: Vomer, Nasal and Lacrimal

Irregular bones

- Rest of anterior skull: ethmoid, sphenoid, temporal, palatine, zygomatic, maxilla, mandible.

- Patella
- Hand (metacarpophalangeal joints)

An extension/protrusion that serves a purpose.
Protuberance
Bulge or projection of bone.
Trochlea
Spool like articular process.
Trochanter
Large blunt elevation in the femur.
Tubercle
Small raised eminence.
Tuberosity
Large rounded elevation.
