  4. BF: should correct for prop malfs arising from fuel system, loss of RPM or bleed issues. Crew to check all other systems for normal op
  5. Systems to be left in config laid out by BF actions. Fuel/bleed systems need operating, take extreme care. Start APU to have backup pwr available.

A

1) Conduct a go-around to gain/maintain MSA - (FP)
2) If navaid/communications information is lost:
Select SYS > PWR CTRL > ALL ON - (N)
3) “ALTIMETERS” - “XXXFT SET” (CP,P,N)
4) Select LEGS > ACTIVATE > EXECUTE (N)

  1. Display services reset: QNH 1013, mins to 500ft (baro & rad)

Ditch warnings (9)

A

1) Do not exceed recommended airspeed, ROD not to exceed 200fpm, maintain constant backpressure on controls but DO NOT STALL (severe impact)
2) Do not lock ENG/NAV seats in a position that will block the copilot from evacuation. Ensure galley floor is up & locked
3) Crew/pax are not to leave ditch positions until a/c has stopped forward movement.
4) Side emergency exits & flight deck hinged windows not to be used in heavy seas or nose down condition.
5) In an emergency, pilot & co’s side windows can be used but heavy flooding can occur
6) exit via centre escape hatch is possible only from the RHS when escape ladder is fitted
7) Ensure personnel are clear of the aircraft & escape hatches before inflating lifevests
8) Life raft release handles must be pulled through complete travel.
9) With smoke/fumes present, there may be insufficient time of useful consciousness to attemp exit from more than one exit
