A
Transports various chemical substances around body such as products of digestion, hormones, antibodies, urea and co2

What does RBCs do
A
- contains haemoglobin, oxygen Transports it from lungs to tissues and cells, for respiration
- no nucleus
- very small, can fit though tiny capillaries
- shaped like discs, large SA so oxygen can diffuse quickly

What does WBCs do
A
- helps to fight infection
- can change shape, engulf microorganisms

What do platelets do
A
-(Fragment of cells) collect and wounds and trigger blood clotting
