A

Inherited disorder that affects the adrenal glands. Girls with CAH usually have normal internal reproductive organs but also have male genitalia.

What is AIS?

A

An insensitivity to androgens (such as testosterone) which can lead to the lack of external male genitalia.
Females may also be exposed to large doses of testosterone and develop swollen genitalia that resembles a penis
