A
technique to receive information (feedback) about the state of a bodily process (bio)
-with biofeedback training can learn to control bodily responses using thought processes, e.g. detect higher breathing or heart rate during stress response and slow it down.

meditation
A
using focused attention to achieve a relaxed state/relaxation response to reduce physiological/psychological effects of stress related symptoms.
-relaxation: any activity that brings about a reduced state of physiological and psychological arousal, e.g. resting, reading a book on the the beach, doesn’t necessarily require meditation.
