What is an abiotic factor and a biotic factor of he food chain
Abiotic factor:
Light temperature, wind.
Biotic factor:
Availability of food, new predators, arriving new pathogens.
What is biodiversity?
Variety of different species of organisms within an ecosystem, different species depend on each other for food, shelter, and maintenance of physical environment
What does a high biodiversity equal
A low dependence among species, which equals higher stability of ecosystem
What are human activities reducing biodiversity?
Hunting?
Climate change.
Producing waste
Deforestation
Introducing invasive species.
What are ways to maintain biodiversity?
Breeding program for endangered species
Protection and regeneration of rare habitats.
Introduction of field margins and hedgerows
Afforestation
Recycling resources.
