What are some examples of high arousal behaviours?
licking, stretching, shaking head nad yawning
Positive reinforcers
favourable event occurs after a behaviour
Negative reinforcers
removing an unfavourable event after a certain behaviour
Positive punishment
Receiving a punishment to decrease a behaviour (e.g spanking// hitting)
Negative punishment
Having something taken away to decrease a behaviour (e.g taking a phone away)
What factors can effect the ethology of an animal?
Internal factors such as hormones or external factors such as the environment they are in
What does social obligatory mean?
Constantly want to be around a social environment
What does social non-obligatory mean?
They choose to be social when they want to be
