What are the normal degrees for each ROM for the cervical spine?
Flexion: 50 - 90 degrees
Extension: 50 - 70 degrees
Left Lateral Flexion: 20 - 45 degrees
Right Lateral Flexion: 20 - 45 degrees
Left Rotation: 70 - 90 degrees
Right Rotation: 70 - 90 degrees
What are the normal degrees for each ROM for the Lumbopelvic region?
Flexion: 60 - 80 degrees
Extension: 20 - 35 degrees
Left Lateral Flexion: 20 - 25 degrees
Right Lateral Flexion: 20 - 25 degrees
Left Rotation: 10 - 20 degrees
Right Rotation: 10 - 20 degrees
What is the normal pulse rate?
60 - 100 beats per minute
What is considered to be normal, fever and hypothermia temperature?
Normal - 37 degrees
Fever - 38 - 38.5 degrees
Hypothermia - below 35 degrees
What is an abnormal respiratory rate, and what is a normal respiratory rate?
Abnormal:
Over 25 breaths
Under 12 breaths
Normal:
Between 13 and 15 breaths.

What are the steps to take blood pressure?
- Make sure arm is raised so that the brachial artery is the same spot as the heart.
- Make sure the left or right arrow is on the right side of the arm.
- Feel for the pulse at the wrist.
- Pump it up to 150
- Take 30 off that (so it is 120)
- Place the stethoscope on the arm and make sure it is closed
- pump up to 150
- Slowly release and listen for the first pulse and then to the last.
- Should look like 120/80
- Anything above that shows high blood pressure.
What is the normal range for oxygen saturation?
95% - 100% - Normal and healthy
94% - 91% is low
90% and less - seek medical help.
