A tissue is a group of cells with similar structure and function working together.

An organ is a collection of tissues which work together to perform a specific function.
What is a multicellular organism made up of?
A multicellular organism is
made up of a number of organ systems that all, work to perform specific functions.
What are some of the parts of the digestive system?
Mouth (containing teeth, tongue and salivary glands). Gullet. Stomach. Pancreas. Large intestine. Small intestine. Bile duct.
What are the parts of an organ?
Muscular tissue: churns food and digestive juices of stomach together.
Glandular tissue: produces digestive juices break down food.
Epithelial tissue: covers inside + outside of organ.
What happens during the development of a multicellular organism?
Cells differentiate becoming specialised to carry out particular jobs.
